EXPECTATIONS OF SECOND-YEAR MENTORS
In order to be eligible to progress to the third tier of the program, mentors must attend monthly FUSE meetings. Mentors can miss no more than two of these meetings. If you are going to be absent, you must inform a FUSE executive.
All mentors are encourage to run monthly meetings, which they are responsible for organizing, with their first-year mentees. Please follow the structure provided in the Fuse Manual if you are unsure of what to do. You will be expected to submit a monthly check-in via email regarding your meetings with mentees and your mentee relationships. Lateness to meetings will not be tolerated. If mentors are consistently late, they may be deemed not dedicated and be removed from the program. Inappropriate behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated. Any inappropriate conduct may result in immediate removal from the program. Mentors are responsible for checking the FUSE mentors Facebook group for important information and updates. Mentors are expected to be respectful and act in a professional manner. Mentors are required to abide by the terms of their provided contracts. |
FUSE faculty and student executives reserve the right to terminate participants from the program at any time if they feel participants are not adhering to the guidelines provided.
